PostgreSQL development is supported on major version releases for 5 years after its initial release. After 5 years, there will typically be one last minor version release containing fixes. After this, the version will have reached end of life and no further fixes will be released.
At PG Support, we recommend that our customers strive to use the latest supported version.
Information about upcoming releases of PostgreSQL can be found on the PostgreSQL roadmap.
Even though a PostgreSQL version development support has reached end of life, PG Support provides legacy support. We will always help our customers by providing our PostgreSQL expertise.
If you have an unsupported legacy version of PostgreSQL, we are happy to work with you to plan an upgrade path for your database.
